ATA 2025 Wrap-Up: Mission Focused, Bow-Ready, and Locked In Support. Defend. Hunt.

The ArmyBuckHunters and ArmyHogHunters crew back in mid-January in Indianapolis wrapped up an incredible few days at the Archery Trade Association (ATA) Show 2025, and let us tell you—it was nothing short of epic.

From the moment the doors opened, it was clear this year’s show wasn’t just about showcasing the latest archery innovations—it was about community, purpose, and a shared passion for the hunt. And for us, it was another powerful opportunity to amplify our mission: Support. Defend. Hunt.

All About the Brotherhood—and the Bowhunting

The ATA Show is where the heart of the archery industry beats. This year, we connected with fellow warriors of the woods, met with top industry leaders, and brought the ArmyBuckHunters mission front and center.

Our booth stayed buzzing with energy as folks came by to learn more about our TV series on Sportsman Channel, our mission to serve veterans through the outdoors, and the impact we’re making on and off the field.

From new gear convos to swapping hunt stories, every connection reminded us why we do what we do.

The Service Dog That Stole the Show

One of the most talked-about members of our team this year? Our archery service dog—a loyal, disciplined companion representing not only the strength of our veterans but also the healing power of the outdoors.

He quickly became a crowd favorite. Attendees couldn’t get enough of him, and neither could the ATA staff, who loved him so much they gave him his own official show badge. (Honestly, we think he earned it.) Whether he was sitting steady at our booth or making his rounds with tail wags and quiet confidence, he brought smiles and a sense of calm to everyone he met.

He’s a reminder that the hunt isn’t just about gear—it’s about connection, healing, and purpose.

Darton Sequel Series Steals the Show—Tough Choices Ahead

We got the chance to shoot Darton Archery’s new Sequel series—the Sequel 35, 33, and 31—and all we can say is: wow. Each one brings something unique to the table, from draw cycle and speed to overall balance and feel. The Sequel 35 is rock-solid and forgiving, the 33 hits a perfect sweet spot, and the 31 is compact, nimble, and ready to run tight setups in thick timber.

Truth is—it’s going to be a tough call choosing which one ends up on our rigs for 2025. Especially considering that just before the show, we got our hands on the new Hoyt RX-9, and that bow is no slouch either. Hoyt came in hot with a smooth draw and dead-in-hand feel, and Darton answered right back with serious heat in the Sequel lineup.

We were pumped to get hands-on with Hawke Optics’ all-new XB30 ZOOM FFP crossbow scope—a true highlight of the show. This First Focal Plane scope brings precision to the next level, letting hunters maintain accurate holdover points no matter the zoom setting. Built tough and tuned for serious crossbow hunters, this optic is already being called a game-changer—and you’ll be seeing it in action on upcoming hunts. Trust us, it’s the real deal.

Over at the Frogg Toggs booth, we got a full walk-through of their updated Insight product line—and it just keeps getting better. Their archery-focused packs and bags have been a go-to for years, and in 2025, they’ve doubled down with even smarter design features.

The layout of the bow packs remains unmatched—built by hunters, for hunters—with dedicated compartments for everything from your release and rangefinder to arrows, optics, and scent-control systems. The improvements this year? More durable zippers, quieter fabric, and enhanced back support and strap systems for those long hauls through the timber.

Whether you’re running deep into public land or headed to the stand in your backyard, Frogg Toggs’ bags are still the gold standard. Lightweight, tactical, and built to perform—they’re not just bags, they’re essential kit.

Carrying the Mission Forward

ATA isn’t just about gear—it’s about honoring the hunt and the people who live it. It’s about ensuring that our veterans and active-duty service members have a place in this community and that we continue to give back through purpose-driven outdoor experiences.

Every handshake, every arrow released, and every tail wag reminded us why we do this—and with partners like Hawke Optics, Frogg Toggs, Darton, and Hoyt backing the mission, we’re stronger than ever.

Looking Ahead

With ATA 2025 in the books, we’re already sighting in for the seasons ahead. We’ve got new gear to test, new episodes to film, and more lives to reach through the great outdoors.

Thanks to everyone who came out, supported the cause, and shared our passion for the hunt. And a special salute to the four-legged hero who reminded us all what loyalty and calm strength really look like.

We’ll see you in the woods.
